How many guests can we include for elopements/intimate weddings?
Capturing weddings of every size brings me so much joy, and I welcome celebrations of all kinds. However, as your guest list grows, your day can become more complex, more costly, and less flexible. My photography style shines brightest at intimate gatherings with fewer than 20 guests. If your celebration will be larger, I ask that you secure a reservable ceremony site or cozy venue before booking with me. To make your day seamless, I also suggest bringing a planner on board to help orchestrate the details.
Do we have to hike to get to scenic spots?
Nada! Many of my couples are drawn to hiking because it speaks to their adventurous spirit, but it is by no means a requirement. There are countless breathtaking spots that are just a short stroll or drive away, and if that sounds more like your style, we will make it unforgettable.
For marriage events, if the idea of a hike excites you, we can dream up the perfect plan together. Some couples love the thrill of hiking in their wedding attire, while others prefer to change once we arrive. The choice is entirely yours, and we can chat about what will make your celebration feel truly like you.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
For elopements + intimate weddings, I send out sneak peeks within a few days while the thrill is still fresh!
Your final gallery arrives within 2 weeks for couples sessions and 8 weeks for elopements & weddings. I see editing as the art that breathes life into every photo, so I devote myself to perfecting each image. While I take the time to create something truly magical, I also work with care and urgency to deliver your memories swiftly. Every gallery is curated with intention, and the number of images depends on the unique story of your session or event. My promise is always quality over quantity, ensuring each image feels meaningful and complete.
Where do sessions usually take place?
Most of my photography unfolds in Colorado Springs and the breathtaking mountain landscapes nearby, like the misty Wet Mountains near Rye or gold rush canyons near Canon City. For couples craving a unique adventure, I am always ready to travel across all corners of Colorado.
What if the weather is bad?
Weather is the silent artist of every adventure, painting moments with unexpected beauty. Picture clear umbrellas glimmering under gentle rain, or the quiet magic of fog transforming the landscape. Whatever the Earth decides, we’ll greet it with thoughtful plans, a backup, or reschedule for couples sessions if necessary.
